Reverse logistics is every movement of goods back up the supply chain rather than down it. Consumer returns are the most visible lane and are covered by our returns management service, but they are not where the risk sits. The lanes that carry real exposure are recalls, where a deadline and a regulator are involved; repatriation, where stock has to be pulled back out of retailers, distributors or a marketplace’s own warehouse; supplier returns, where a faulty batch has to be evidenced and shipped back before the claim window closes; and disposal, where duty of care means you need a record of what happened to the goods.
